accessibility accommodations
We selected The Redd as our venue because the building is fully ADA accessible. We will also have a few different seating areas available for folks to rest and enjoy throughout the event.
Earplugs and masks can be requested at the front desk for anyone who would like them.
If you have any suggestions for making our event more disability-friendly, reach out! We can't guarantee every accommodation can be made, but we'll certainly do what we can.
Covid Safety Protocol
In this year’s open-air venue, we are not requiring masks to attend our event. That said, we always recommend masking if you are uncomfortable in close proximity with others, or simply prefer to mask up. We will have masks available at entry.
Harassment of any kind including about the presence of masks will not be tolerated. Please be cool and help us keep this event an inclusive place of fun and celebration in this fucked up world.
Advisories
This event will have loud noises, animatronics, dim lighting, and scare actors.
Water-based haze will be present throughout the interior of the event. This will be thin, unscented haze made by vaporizing a water-based fog solution (rather than oil-based, which can leave residue and trigger smoke alarms).
Content Warnings/Age Restrictions
All ages welcome with parental discretion. We advise artists and performers that public-facing works should roughly follow a “PG-13” guideline. That being said, due to the nature of the event focusing on Halloween and horror, we do advise discretion should you choose to bring children and even certain adults.
Ghosts of Summer is produced by 2 queer leftists. Complaints about woke content, anti-Trump sentiments, or the presence of drag performances will be pointed and laughed at before removal.
Further ticket terms & conditions can be found here and upon ticket purchase.
COSTUMES
Costumes are welcome and encouraged! Ghosts of Summer is a celebration of Halloween, and what Halloween celebration would be complete without costumes? Each night of our event, we will host a costume contest where you can win to-die-for prizes. Some of our vendors may even have candy or other treats for the trick-or-treaters in the crowd. No one is too old for trick-or-treating.
Please refer to our Costume Props Policy for safety restrictions and more information.

Anyone with animals causing disruptions will be asked to leave.
