Rules & Restrictions, re: Costume Props

Costumes are welcome and encouraged at Ghosts of Summer, but please be aware of the following restrictions.

Functional weapons and hyperrealistic firearm props are prohibited at Ghosts of Summer.

Simulated costume weapons are allowed, subject to approval by onsite security checks for compliance with the following:

• Prop weapons must conform to state and federal law. Those resembling firearms must have toy indicators visible at all times including a brightly colored cap on the barrel.

• Projectile costume props and weapons must be rendered inoperable.

• Costume blades must be a blunt, non-metal material.

• Anyone who does not adhere to these restrictions will be removed from the venue.
